Founded in 1290 , the convent of the DOMINICAINS shined on city life for five centuries. In 1791, the ST DOMINIQUE church became property of the army who used it as an artillery depot. In 1926 , the vine growers of Collioure purchased the grandiose building for wine production. Today, in this modern equipped facility, among stainless steel tanks, pneumatic presses and aging process barrels, we still can glimpse many remains of the past.
